If anyone here is a fan of Anime... Considering we are all "Gamers" I figured some definitely may be fellow fans. I'm looking for suggestions to a new Anime.
I'd list what I've seen but... That would be a pretty big list. I'm looking for something more off the beaten path that I may have missed along the way. Most mainstream series I've watched/still watching.
Thanks!

As a fan of both MMO's and anime I'd have to suggest .hack//SIGN which is my personal favorite anime series ever. I love all the .hack variants, but SIGN will always be the best!

Honestly I've seen a majority of your list as well. I'll look at some of the ones I haven't seen and check them out.

Thank you for the suggestions I have not seen [Claymore] as of yet. I was going to watch it at one point in time I think I started watching [Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu] instead. I forgot all about [Claymore] so thanks for reminding me. I may end up watching that!

I have watched all of the .Hack variants and I honestly wish there was one more I could watch.
Thanks everyone for your help!

Claymore apparently stopped right in the middle of a story arc.
Maybe spoiler: The manga continues with 7 surviving claymores finding out why claymores exist. Also, raki ends up being able to kill groups of youma.
Anyway, I've watched a ton of stuff. Nothing really comes to mind though. I usually wander around on tvtropes untill I find something I might like.

Claymore stopped before the time jump but it completely changed the way the manga went before the jump, and not for the better. Still good though.
As for recommendations, that haven't already been mentioned - Bakemonogatari, Katanagatari, Occult Academy, Mnemosyne.... to name a few.

what i do if i don't know hat to watch, is looking at the director/production company/scriptwriters from a serie i really like and i look up what other series they made ;)
maybe that helps
for example, a very nice production house is Sunrise, their early series are the best i've seen (newest ones are less so) like: crest/banner of the Stars, witch hunter robin, planetes, angel heart, infinite ryvius, sister of wellber,...etc, each of those are in my personal top 20
(but i have to admit they are also behind the much overrated gundam series, those aren't bad, but imho not worth the hype ;) )

Honestly I've never been a huge Gundam fan personally. I've watched them off and on but after awhile I get bored.

Soul Eater is an awesome series! The second half of the series is simply amazing (not that the first half isn't good haha)!
