I had originally had a Move bundle pre-ordered for my Daughter. When she saw the video of [Eyepet] while I was watching E3 Live and she went nuts and had to have it.

So I went and picked it up Friday and I have not been able to stop playing [Sports Champions] for the life of me. Gladiators and Archery have had me completely addicted. Extremely easy to set up, use and the 1:1 motion tracking is dead on. I'm not sure of future game support and how this will work out as a new step for Sony overall, but I will tell you that it makes the Wii controller look completely outdated and sluggish. The controller itself is very comfortable to hold for an extended period of time and the LED trackers on top are thankfully soft. If you have any interest in motion controllers or were ever a big Wii fan I suggest you try it out and see how much more the Move is capable of bringing to the table.

[Eyepet] is too cute for words, just watching the smile it brings to my Daughter's face and the nonstop laughing every time her little guy does something silly was completely worth the money spent, even if I never purchase another title for it in the future.

It's too much of a Wii copy for my tastes(at the moment). I'm waiting for something to actually come out that is interesting to play.

Move is far from selling me.

It's cool that your daughter is having so much fun with it though. Like you said, it means the money as well worth it since shes having a good time

I thought the same thing at first until I actually got my hands on it. It's everything the Wii should have been. Way more things involved to get all the interactions down. It's not like with the Wii just randomly swinging your arm around to try and get something to happen. It tracks your movement perfectly, not that jittery icon on screen that never really works well to begin with. It is more immersible than the Wii will ever be. I say find a Demo station get your hands on one and you'll instantly feel how the 2 differ from each other entirely.

Yeah anything to keep her happy and let me have more time to concentrate on other things. Except now every time I turn around it's... "Daddy look" "Daddy he just jumped" "Daddy look" "Daddy he has a ball" "Daddy" "Daddy". LoL! She is definitely just like me... Loves to talk!

I disagree. I have played around with the Move and the same thing I get is its just a wannabe of the Wii with a dildo at the end. It's Wii HD thats about it from my stand point.

I thought it was a Wii rip off as soon as I saw it and then even after messing around and playing with it, I still think the same. Its Wii HD with a dildo on it. Not impressive.

If something comes out that it can do that the wii CANT then maybe I'll be interested. At the moment I have no plans to buy it unless something really impressive comes out for it that the Wii can't do

I was just giving my impressions on it too. But yeah the dildo thing. It's the first thing I thought of when they first showed it off with the magic ball on the end. I think everyone came to that conclusion that it was Sony's secret way to get sex shops to sell the playstation move as well lol

LoL. I'm not even going to think about that. My fascination with women and gaming brings that notion way to lifelike for my vivid imagination to ponder!

On a funny note... I do picture a girl laying on a bed and her man walking up with his hands behind his back. She looks his way and his hands pop out holding but what, 2 Move controllers and punnily enough says "Baby, I'm gonna move you!"

Just because Wii were the first people to utilize motion controls properly doesn't mean they own the concept, are no other developers meant to touch motion control until people have completely forgotten about the Wii or something?

Personally I don't buy into the whole motion control thing as I think the whole swinging a controller round like a prat (whilst entertaining) is just a gimmick and it's the reason my Wii hasn't had access to power in over a year now, but I can see why others would enjoy it (especially for more 'family' centred gaming and the like).

I've tried out move and admittedly I was impressed by the accuracy of the 1:1 motion tracking but I think I was only impressed because of how disappointing the Wiimote was, but I'm sure it'll be a huge success with certain demographics, just not my cup of tea.

Admittedly though they do look like sex toys. Pat on the back for the design team there.

I find it biased and two faced of people who bash wii for ''waving arms around'' as a gimmick but then kiss sony's ass when they're doing the same thing. Even Sony themselves bashed the Wii and the ''waggle'' and then once they saw the success Wii had, they figure they'd jump on the bandwaggon

Fanboys are pervasive and their favourite company can do anything, even if it's something done by someone else which they referred to as stupid and they'll still think it's the best thing since sliced bread.

It's definitely hypocritical of Sony considering their past mocking of the Wii but hey that's business :/ They wouldn't be the first company to go back on their word.

But imo all motion control, regardless of platform, in it's current form is a gimmick.

I'm kind of curious about how much money is going to get squeezed out of that before people start realising it isn't that great.

It's like people have completely forgotten about those old red / blue crappy cardboard glasses.

It's definitely not completely revolutionary. I had a good time seeing my first 3D movie. I definitely wont be seeing every movie in 3D as I did get a tad motion sick. I'm interested in 3D gaming to see what levels it can bring and if by them bringing back this dead idea that someone else may end up creating something better.

So I guess I'm not as excited about the Tech we have used [/ma "Raise III" ] on but, more the possibilities it could bring in future years.

I for one shall never forget those glasses. I still have a pair actually. They are great for 80's parties!

I don't want any 3D gaming,period. I never want to have to purchase a crappy 3D TV in order to play 3D gimmick games lol

Yeah I wouldn't mind it so much if they weren't trying to advertise it as this truly revolutionary way to view your media, it really isn't, I saw Avatar, and a handful of other movies in 3D but I'm sure I would've enjoyed them just as much without it.

I'm going to hold back on buying any 'revolutionary' 3D home media until they're projecting holographic images of games and movies directly into my living room. I'm more interested in stuff like Haptics than slight augmentations of the TV screen :/

Well I don't want it to be 3D only. I'd rather be giving an option on what choice I'd like to make. Like I'd be very upset if I had to use my "dildo controller" to play everything on my PS3.

All in all I will wait and see where all of this is taking us. Since the invention of HD they have been pushing things a little to much lately though. I thought SD to HD was a big step. Now I have to hold "dildos" and wear glasses to keep up with the Jones's? I do not like how this is being pushed as these things ARE the future and WILL be standard. I'd prefer if they gave more reasons as to why this Tech is good for bringing a more immersible experience. Not just... It's COOL stuff comes out of the screen! I have enjoyed my Move quite a bit I think it may be because I never purchased a Wii so my experience was with on was very limited.
